Discover another facet of São Paulo by outside view the São Paulo Museum of Art and Oscar Freire. Finally, make your way to Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo’s largest park, for your last stop.

This morning, we embark on a long-distance coach journey from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro. Along the way, we will make a stop at Campos do Jordão, a picturesque mountain resort town in Brazil known as the “Brazilian Switzerland” for its European-style architecture and refreshing climate. While there, don’t miss the opportunity to visit Palácio Boa Vista to admire the art collection and gardens. Enjoy our lunch at a local café and take time to wander through the delightful streets and shops.

Start the day with a rack railway ride to the 710 metres high summit of Corcovado Mountain, where the 38 metre Statue of Christ the Redeemer – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The view of the city and Guanabara Bay below is simply breathtaking. Next, photostop at the iconic Maracana Stadium, venue of the 2014 World Cup Final, drive past the Sambadrome, where the yearly Carnival takes place and admire the unique Metropolitan Cathedral of St Sebastian. Thereafter, visit the 300-foot-high Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car and get to see the astounding bay and city views.
